This year marks the 50th anniversary of the classic favorite "Breakfast at Tiffany's. As a special tribute, I am pleased to create a custom face up of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly.
Full facial repaint and shading as well as extensive hair style make over to replicate the features of Ms. Hepburn as Holly as she appeared in the movie.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.
-- acrylic paint and ultra fine brushes

Hi I am very impressed by your art I am from Argentina and here we dont have access to things like this, but when I saw your dolls they have caused a great impact on me. How do you do it? Do you paint over the face of a high quality doll that you already bought? so, if you paint over any doll's face, it can take the shape that looks so real? I havent ever heard of repaint in dolls and I hope I understood the process, if it's not like that well.. I didnt get it Anyway, It's amazing!!
