---- Farewell and thank you to an artist whose music has become a soundtrack of my life in many ways.
It is with great pride that I share my latest creation - my humble tribute to "the Voice", Ms. Whitney Houston. Whitney Houston's music has touched me in more ways than any other singer/artist and I am glad that I could pay respects to this legendary artist.
Hair rework and extensive full facial makeover were needed to bring Whitney Houston's features to life on this 11 1/2 inch doll. Inset photo on the bottom shows the factory version.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

It would be better if we can see her really and honestly smile, seeing her teeth as if she was singing. I think itīs very important because she was the smile, she loved laughing. She shined with her smile.
And i love this look.
