I use Tonner Doll Company's factory produced Stefan and Damon Salvatore doll. The inset photos at the bottom show the dols in their original factory state.

As with all my creations, I completely strip the original factory paint on each of the dolls, and completely repaint the facial features in, paying attention to accuracy of likeness and lifelike expressions. The dolls also underwent extensive hair rework to match the proportions of the faces .

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

AMAZING! It's such a shame that those dolls have good head mold but ordinary painting job of the company makes them look like CRAP. All of your work is astounding, they highly resemble the actors. Hardly any flaw, in their original version Stefan looked like a crazy goon and Damon like a kid. Great job with the hair too, you made them billion times better! From crap to FAB! You gotta make their 1864 versions and a Katherine!! If I were to start a doll company, I would have definitely hired you. XD
