This was drawn as part of an art project in 2000. What better subject than my own son! Drawn mostly with silver point and and a little graphite on plywood! My son's actually a little embarassed about this portrait because he thinks he looks like an underwear model. 16" x 19"

This is beyond words! The eyes, the eyes! Not many people seem to get them right, but those eyes just speak throughout the painting!

Oh wow... he looks really good. If this was done in 2000, he must be older than me now.
The textures and shading is really well done.
Filipino? :)

Wow... this is amazing (as is everything else you do). Like the commentor before me, I don't know anyone else who works on wood. You really are very talented! I'm expecting that pretty soon you'll be getting tonnns of comments from people discovering your work. :)

Ohhh and I forgot to say that I really liked how it came out on the wood. The texture is really interesting. Also, great pose! He looks he's in deep thought. Or getting impatient :XD:

I'm so so much impressed. You are a profi!
Your way of shading is just great and your choice of tools, too. I don't know anybody who works on wood.
Keep it up!

The amazement never ceases. All of your potraits look like photographs from the thumbnails.
Did you work on this one mostly from memory or did you have him pose the whole time?

Thank you again. Your comments are very inspiring. It started with him posing for me. But he quickly got impatient, so I ended up taking a snapshot of him. :)
