Full facial repaint and shading as well as extensive hair style make over to replicate the features of the character and the subtle nuances of lifelike expressions.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

But, i think you should have made the upper lip a little thinner and not give the cupid's bow contour. Her smile always had a pout in the movie, closer to how the lips looked on the before picture. I hope you don't mind me saying.
I love the way you did her brows. Much less cartoonish than the original paint job. Also, the curtain dress looks spectacular with how you painted her. Superb
