I basically just wanted to share this photo of me in my repaint workshop, working on a repaint of Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins. I also show here the finished repaint.

Please refer to my earlier deviation to see what the original Mary Poppins doll looked like prior to repainting.

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

You have talent! I don't like dolls, but your work is very amazing! They do look like the real persons!
But aren't you scared that you drop some paint on the doll's clothes?
