I basically just wanted to share this photo of me in my repaint workshop, working on a repaint of Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins. I also show here the finished repaint.
Please refer to my earlier deviation to see what the original Mary Poppins doll looked like prior to repainting.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

You have talent! I don't like dolls, but your work is very amazing! They do look like the real persons! But aren't you scared that you drop some paint on the doll's clothes?
I'd just like to let you know that this helped me alot! I made reference collages just like you in this photo. It was a big help thanks! And btw you're the best! I LOOOOVE your dolls!
