Please refer to my earlier deviation of these dolls for repaint details. These dolls each received full facial custom repaint as well as complete hair restyling. Edward doll is approximately 17 1/2 inches tall, while Bella Swan doll is approx. 15 1/2 inches tall. The base dolls used were produced by Tonner Co.

Holy cow!
They look so much more amazing after that re-painting! It's stunning! When I first saw it, I thought they were photographs of real people... But after reading what you said?

It's amazing work! :)

Love is like a booger. You keep picking at it until you get it, then wonder what to do with it.

Thanks to ~ToxicEevee for the icon.

Honestly, it's amazing work.

But I think it's just too much work on something not so important. And, I really hope some 13 year-old can convince her parents to buy them. But I REALLY don't think anything that has to do with Twilight is worth that much...

Still, though. It's AMAZINGLY realistic work. AMAZINGLY!!

:icongray-lily:
did you do more work on bella?
:iconlialuthor:
LOL, I don't think finding someone to buy them will be his problem. There are a surprisingly large number of rabid fans that are full-grown. There are also a surprising number of doll collectors that wouldn't blink at spending a couple hundred on custom dolls.

I imagine the bigger problem would be the poor fangirls sending him messages asking for discounts on their own personal mini-neckchomper.

I am honestly depressed at the fact that there are so many fully grown fans of the depressing piece of literature. I mean, how can an adult get through a book that is actually described as being written at a fourth grade level and enjoy it. I honestly felt my IQ drop a few points as I started reading. haha

Yes, I really hope no girl really messages him with some moronic comment on how they are "the biggest fan" and deserve some sort of discount.

Well, to be fair, the newspaper is supposedly only written at an eighth grade reading level. People generally don't like difficult reading. I'd say it's surprising that a book designed for the tween set has gotten so popular, but it's following in Harry Potter's footsteps, and that was written for even younger kids.
I don't have any problem with light reading (I mean, you enjoy what you enjoy, after all) but I am sort of weirded out by the rabid fanbabies. Seriously, adults asking the actor to bite them? Little creepy.(Less creepy, I suppose, than the tendency for female anime fans to slash every male character, though. Even the married/old/dead ones)

The movie was kind of horrible, if you ask me, But those dolls are pretty awesome.
:icontrivium666fan:
Oh, don't get me wrong. The figures are well done no matter what character he would have been doing. It's just an amazing piece of work. But people don't usually turn to the newspaper for "leisure reading." As for the Harry Potter thing, that became popular after people started saying it taught "satanic" values. Which is moronic if you ask me. I mean, my leisure reading includes Edmund Gettier's "The Gettier Problem" work or philosophy writing or comic books. Or The Dresden Files(haha, i know, adult harry potter lol). But this seems ridiculously horribly written when it comes to character development, plot development, or even just simple inclusion of other characters. Many characters were place-holders that just disappeared throughout the work.

And yes, that is REALLY creepy. And I hate the new "anime" trend as well. People that WISH They were asian just as many girls WISH they were vampyres. It's quite disturbing to find a culture so easily stirred around someone's finger.
