[link]I've been asked so many times when I will be creating a Jacob Black doll. Well here he is finally - Jacob Black as portrayed by Taylor Lautner from the Twilight sequel,"New Moon".
The doll used is a 17 1/2 inch Jacob doll by Robert Tonner. Precision and meticulous repainting went into the creation of this celebrity doll with the utmost attention to accuracy and detail.
The inset photo on the bottom right shows the mass produced version of the Edward Cullen as it was originally released.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.
