With the release of Tonner Company's New Moon-inspired Edward and the Birthday Bella Swan with a brand new sculpt, my inspiration to create continues, especially with the challenge of repainting the brand new Bella sculpt released by the manufacturer just this year.
Full facial repaint and shading as well as extensive hair style make over to replicate the features of the characters and the delicate nuances of their emotions evoked particularly based on the Bella's paper cut birthday scene
The inset photos on the bottom portion show the mass produced version of the dolls as they were originally released.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

Your repaints are so realistic and beautiful! They actually capture the characters, which is amazing. I'm not really into Twilight, but this really did make me pause!
