These two dolls are inspired by two of my favorite movie characters - Miranda Priestly as portrayed by Meryl Streep and Andrea Sachs as played by Anne Hathaway from the film "The Devil Wears Prada".
Full facial repaint and shading as well as extensive hair style make over to replicate the features of the characters and the subtle nuances of lifelike expressions.
The inset photos on the bottom portion show the mass produced version of the dolls as they were originally released.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

You are amazing! One of the most amazing artists I have ever seen! Your repaints are so lifelike; they look like you took the actual actors/people and shrunk them down to borrower size!! It's so cool! Please don't ever cease to produce your artwork!
Ok I gotta say that the Anne Hathaway one is creeping me out a bit. It looks so life like that it looks like you cut and pasted her into your photo x___x All your repaints are amazing!
