Yet another Grace Kelly face up. This one is based from her look in the classic Hitchcock film "Rear Window".

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

-- acrylic paint and ultra fine brushes

I love that you put so much effort into the hair. On the Mattel Barbie Collector website, all of the dolls have perfect hair. By the time they're actually shipped to you, the hair is disgusting because it's all tied up and taped in the packaging. This is wonderful!

This is incredible. It must have taken you hours. It looks like a photoshop manip. which you should take as a compliment.

We've just launched a webcomic that's kind of a tribute to the great man. Plenty of suspense, with a few surprises thrown in. Check out my DA page or go here [link] and let us know what you think.
