REMEMBERING ELIZABETH TAYLOR (27 February 1932 - 23 March 2011)

GENE DOLL CHANNELS ELIZABETH TAYLOR IN "CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF".
This former Best Bet Gene has had all traces of factory facial makeup completely removed and then precision repainted using the finest brushes, acrylics and sealers to recreate the sultry beauty of the young Liz Taylor as she appeared in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". Subtle shadowing and contouring were also utilized. The doll's gorgeous raven mane has been heat-set, permed and meticulously styled to mimic Ms. Taylor's look from the movie.

Oh, the original was creepy. I remember that doll. I loved the woman dearly (I had such a girl-crush on her), but I refused to buy such an ugly recreation.

The factory version doesn't even lookn like her, you did a much MUCH better job.

The "factory version" is a Gene Marshall doll, who wears retro clothing (1940s-1960s) and is not supposed to look like Elizabeth Taylor. That being said, Mr. Cruz did another excellent job transforming her into Miss Taylor.

I really do not know, why they did not ask you to paint the dolls, they are much better when you finished them
