RECREATING ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS POSTERS OF ALL TIME: custom repaint inspired by Farrah's Red Swuimsuit Poster
As a huge fan of Farrah, I just had to take the doll and transform it into a faithful replica of the Charlie's Angels star.
As Farrah's hair was so iconic, extensive hair styling was the first order of business. Next was the delicate task of painting in her facial features. Since the sculpt depicts a big full smile, hand painting and shading each tooth was a painstaking process that had to be the exact scale and proportion. The image on left side shows the doll as it was originally released.
