I used a 16-inch Robert Tonner doll here. I completely removed factory facial painting and hand painted it to look like Gwen Stefani On top of that I restyled the hair to replicate that of Gwen's. Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

Oh my god, that is wonderful! She looks so elegant, and you can definately tell it's Gwen. I don't know exactly why... but something about her painted on cheeks and expression... Hmm. It looks great, definately worth a favorite!
The first thing I thought when I saw the pic before seeing any sort of title was, "Hey, it's Gwen Stefani." So I guess you did a damn fine job in making it look like her. Nice work!
