NOTE: THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS

For those who've been requesting and asking for a tribute doll of Farrah Fawcett, here it is finally. It is still a work in progress and her facial features still need finishing touches, but so far I am pleased with how it's coming along. This was created out of a Farrah doll by Mego, as shown in the inset photo. Her oriiginal hair has been rremoved and completely rerooted with quality saran hair.

Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area and an even greater challenge of recreating a real person's likeness. Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

oh man this looks amazingly good!! its really nice to see the transformation. the doll sculpt before looks, to me, sub-par, with little resemblance to Farrah, but with your re-paint it actually shows that the sculpt was great, and it suffered from the cheap quick paint added by mego. you made her look very pretty, and im glad you also re-rooted her and gave her better hair, u cant have a Farrah with crappy hair :)

She really looks great. The original is a disaster... do you alter the face sculpt? Or is it all shading? Really excellent work!
