Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

-- acrylic paint and ultra fine brushes

Superb! Looks like wax work at Madame Tussaud's. Tonner doll co. should hire you to boost their sales or better still tie up with them:)

Daniel Radcliffe couldn't wear the contacts, they irritated his eyes, Emma could not wear buck teeth cause she couldn't talk with them in. They did their best, and JK help with most of the movie so you cant hate them too much if the original writer helped with them...

The time when the series of movies started it was ahead of film generations with CGI+ editing, I'm guess JK as well as the editing staff thought it would be best to keep them as natural as they could. Messing with eyes or teeth seem simple but just enhancing an animal takes weeks. If any discussion was to redo anyone look using computers was probably dropped do to an out vote of people who found it silly to spend months going over the film again since computer enhancement was still new at the time and as the movies kept coming they just kept it the same. JK originally didn't want Daniel as Harry because of his eyes and his structure, but he was a last second pick after the original guy they picked was fired because he was not British. That was her main rule for casting. Daniel got the break because his dad knew the director, so he would not have been Harry if they didn't replace the original actor who btw had green eyes.

I like the movies but was disappointed in many scenes they did not cover or barely covered such as L and T's baby, their death, The battle in the last book in general, how quick the ending felt in Half Blood prince,Very little Ginny in all films, and many other things that helped make Harry who he was as long as everyone else/

yeah and another thing that got to me was crabbe n goyle, in 7 (not sure about the rest of the films...) but they changed... which threw me off... i would have to look again for them in the other movies, but i definitely know they were different in 7.
the battle did go by really fast. I mean you work up the 7 (well 8, but i consider 7p1 and p2 still just 7.) movies just to have the end scene over in like... 10 mins. haha (i dont really know how long it was it just seemed really fast.) As standing alone, the movies were good. but if you are coming off the books to watch these movies.... there are huge differences. but i mean its like that with everything. the only one i cannot accept to be from a book is Eragon... i liked both the book series and the movie. However, the movie is NOT from the book in any way, except characters names...though i would have liked to have more movies i dont think it would have gone over well...

If you ever watched my sisters keeper after reading the book they failed horribly. Though its not a fantasy book it deals with someone the writer knew in real life and how they made a daughter to be a donor for their eldest who had cancer, from bone marrow, to organs, to blood, the girl had no say and fights for her rights. The movie they made it to kid friendly with terrible acting and redoing a great books ending. It killed my fzith in Hollywood x Books

What I find insane is that most dolls from some mega movie franchise are super expensive but they look like crap. At least artists like this guy are around to correct the mistakes. Bravo!
