Music legend Barbra Streisand holds the rare distinction of winning an Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony awards among numerous other awards. She is not only a musician but a distinguished actress, film producer, director and songwriter.
This one of a kind tribute doll replicates Brabra's appearance at the Cocoanut Grove in 1963. Faithful attention to make up and other facial nuances were essential to this custom face up
So , as I always do, I completely removed factory facial painting and hand painted the doll to create a faithful replica of Barbra's features particularly inspired by her look from hte particular event.
The doll's hair has been also been reworked for accuracy and proper scale
The inset photo on the bottom right shows the doll as it looked originally before repainting.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

Perfect Noel! You always make the eyes so warm! The hair desperately needed restyling. Mattel should really hire you as a consultant before they release another celebrity doll!
they just can't do it as good as you
actually nobody can
