Glad to see I'm not the only one who tests the brush on their non-painting hand And now I can see how small brushes can be for doing this - my one very lonely solitary paintbrush I'm using for my first effort is about 15x thicker.
I notice that a lot of work has been done on the nose too, which isn't just paint, but actual resculpting - how did you do this? Emery board? Scalpel? It's a fantastic repaint job - especially the eyes.
I just glanced at all your dolls.... Wow... That has got to be the best art I've seen in a while....XD I'm extremely afraid of dolls... but this is awesome. I was just wondering how you came to the idea of repainting dolls?? It's really original. Anyway, great stuff - and good luck with the future!!! XD
This work is so good it's eerie. BTW, I edit a literary journal and I'd love to showcase some photos of you doing your work, like this one. I think they have real poetic value. Would you email me if you're interested in publishing this photo with us?
